For more than 10 years, Concentric Medical has been dedicated to advancing stroke care through scientific and technological innovation backed by extensive clinical research. These innovations drive the development of tools to give physicians the power, precision and control to create better outcomes for their patients.

From 2003- 2007, the MERCI and Multi MERCI Trials collectively included 305 prospective large-vessel acute ischemic stroke patients. These two trials demonstrated not only the clinical utility of the Merci Retrieval System®, but the clinical benefits of mechanical embolectomy in large vessel stroke.

Completed in the late spring of 2010, the Merci Registry comprised one of the largest post-market registries for acute ischemic stroke. The Merci Registry enrolled its 1000 patient on June 3rd.
